Fundamentos De Fisica Estadistica Y Termica F Reif Rapidshare Berkvall







... The present study of chaos and fractals in the context of elementary particle physics is the result of my own research on this topic, and I think that it provides new insights on the nature of non-linear dynamics and their relevance for high energy physics, especially for the understanding of the non-linear phenomena that characterize the quantum realm and to study the nontrivial collective phenomena related to quantum and classical phase transitions. It also deals with the problems of dynamics and stability that affect the dynamics of the physical systems under study. The quantum domain is investigated with special emphasis on the foundations of quantum mechanics and quantum field theory. But I also intend to include in the following an extension of these ideas to a theory of quantum gravity and I hope to contribute to the foundation of a non-perturbative formulation of quantum gravity and related field theories and to the understanding of their qualitative aspects. In order to do so, I am working on several topics that connect the previously mentioned research with the mathematical structure of fractals and the topology of infinite dimensional spaces. In particular, the topics of interest relate to a theory of infinite dimensional manifolds of differential topological nature. I am also interested in the mathematical aspects of quantum information theory and quantum computation and in the application of the above concepts to this domain.
